Episode 3 - The People Behind the Movement
Summer Smash 2026 wasn’t just another festival for Koi Ice. It was a defining moment for our brand. As thousands of fans packed the grounds to watch performances from Playboi Carti, Chief Keef, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Baby, BigXthaPlug, G Herbo, and some of the biggest names in hip-hop, our team was serving up premium Hawaiian shave ice in the middle of one of the largest independent music festivals in the country.
Created by Lyrical Lemonade founder Cole Bennett, Summer Smash has become a cultural destination where music, art, fashion, and community collide. For Koi Ice, being part of that experience meant more than selling cups; it meant becoming part of the story.
Behind every successful event is a team, and Episode 3 is dedicated to the people who made this possible.

The creative identity of Koi Ice continues to evolve thanks to the talented designers and creators who help shape our vision. A special acknowledgment goes to our Art Designer, Stephen Tuazon, whose work has helped bring the Koi Ice brand to life through design with Founder Julian Reed's vision.

From early-morning setup calls to late-night breakdowns, from hauling equipment to serving nonstop lines of customers, this team represented Koi Ice with professionalism, energy, and pride. As we close out Episode 3, we’re reminded that Koi Ice is about more than shaved ice. It’s about community. It’s about culture. It’s about bringing people together through experiences they won’t forget.
